Jan. 25: Olivier Roy, research director at the French National Center for Scientific Research, will speak on the consequences of living in Western societies for Muslim culture, religious practice and identity. "Western Muslims or Muslims in the West?" will be hosted at the Institute of Governmental Studies library (109 Moses Hall) at UC Berkeley on January 25, 2007 at 4:30 p.m. This is a free event and is co-sponsored by the Religion, Politics and Globalization Program.
